Computer Hardware Engineering Intern

May - August 2018 • San Diego, CA

What I liked

San Diego is an amazing place to work in. My project was something that the verification team is going to directly use and will make an immediate impact. The company environment is very relaxed and the facilities are very nice.

What I wish was different

My project involved very long compilation times, so at times, work was slow while I waited for it to finish. I wish I had more projects to work on the side.

Advice

Make sure that you ask questions when you get stuck because everyone is willing to help, and it can save you a lot of time.

Advice

When starting at a new company, it takes a while to get settled + understand what is going on. It’s okay to hate it at first. It’s okay to feel super lost at first. It will get easier + you will find a fit and schedule that works for you!
