What I liked

I enjoyed working in the kitchen. Pay was really nice. Automatic pay raises. Tuition reimbursement for $750 per semester. Super flexible hours since location is 24/7. Easy to request time off.

What I wish was different

Very high turnover rate. No employee appreciation at this specific location.

Advice

Pro of W Broad Sheetz over other sheetz in the district: fast paced and everyone is well disciplined. Con of W Broad Sheetz over other sheetz in the district: no employee appreciation and therefore moral is often low

What I liked

Managers were always open to listening. The staff is kind and it is a positive work environment. I also enjoy the incentives (Discounted food, quarterly bonuses, opportunities to grow).

What I wish was different

I wish scheduling was more consistent. Some weeks I was working early in the morning, and some days I was working past midnight.

Advice

The hard work is worth the pay and benefits!

What I liked

I enjoyed the family feel within the workplace. The managers were friendly and understanding, and help was given whenever I needed it.

What I wish was different

I wish I would have shown more managerial qualities to boost my recommendation and capacity for management later on.

Advice

I underestimated the amount of work and commitment this job required. However, I was very glad I took it on because I can appreciate the benefits in always being busy, as well as developed great connections with coworkers.

What I liked

Some stores are really good, they even give ample workload to prevent boredom and help the day fly!

What I wish was different

Some stores weren't the best. The people were not the friendliest, the day crept by, and the store was highly disorganized

Advice

Great for an entry level job to help you grow and build experience.
