Project Designer/Architect

Summary of Job Duties:

The Project Designer/Architect will oversee and execute urban design and planning projects including project publication-ready drawings, models, and reports working in InDesign, Lumion, Photoshop, Illustrator, Rhino, 3D Studio Max, and AutoCAD. Must be able to combine design with research. Design studio teaching opportunities are available to qualified candidates.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent from an accredited institution of higher education

Demonstrated integration of superlative design and urban planning and representational skills as evidenced in portfolio

At least three years of experience in award-winning, design-oriented offices with a record of winning national and international design awards

Outgoing design ambition, evidence of process skills, and working across scales as evidenced in portfolio and in interviews

Proven agility using a range of software including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lumion, and Rhino as evidenced in portfolio
