This position will primarily focus on the structural transportation side of the business but can occasionally work with the structural building design staff.

 

·    Performing structural computations in the design and analysis of concrete, prestressed/post-tensioned concrete, steel and other miscellaneous structures

·    Creating analysis models and interpreting results for 2D and 3D structural bridges

·    Assisting with construction administrative tasks, including site visits, RFI’s, and shop drawing review

·    Assisting with design drawings, quantities, cost estimates, specifications, reports and other project deliverables while working with the structures team

·    Preparing technical studies and reports

·    In this position, the individual will be required to work closely with a team of Structural Engineers. A willingness to work in a team environment, following the standards we have in place.

·    Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering (Preferred)

·    Passing the Fundamentals Examination (FE)

·    Exposure to structural design software, SAP 2000, RAM Elements, etc.

·    Proficient with CADD software, including AutoCAD, Autocad Civil 3D and/or Microstation and Geopak

·    Strong organizational skills

·    Candidates to be US permanent resident or citizen eligible to work in the United States           and obtain security clearances
