The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, the state's steward of public health and environmental protection, is actively recruiting for Administrative Manager I in Richland County. Job Description Highlights:
In this position, you will work with the staff to develop contract language and execute contracts. You will assist staff in tracking and monitoring contracts and generate reports for the Bureau Director to ensure timely renewal of contracts. You will work with Division Directors and staff to support the Bureau's finance issues including reviewing and developing program budgets; monitoring program expenditures and revenue; providing regular budget updates to the Bureau Director and developing fiscal impact statements. Lastly, you will work with staff to complete processes related to human resources (e.g., recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, employee relations).
Required Qualifications:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in administrative services, public health administration or business administration.
Must have at least four (4) years of health care management experience (including budgets, human resources and contracts).
Must have experience managing large budgets; familiarity with contracts and federal grants.
