Summer Intern - Engineering

Summer interns will work in a fast-paced cross functional environment where they will gain experience with all aspects of bicycle lock product development from concept generation through product testing and lifecycle management. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in new product development project discussions and assist with various elements of design & development activities which support initiatives
  • Assist with competitive product tear down project to better understand composition and costs of competitor's products
  • Assist with testing and inspection of new products and components as necessary, recommend solutions where variances occur

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Sophomore year must be complete by the start of the summer internship program for undergraduate candidates
  • Minimum 3.0 on 4.0 GPA scale
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative (e.g. school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership on school/work projects)
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with complex data
  • Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Pro-e/Creo and Solidworks experience is recommended
