Entry- Level Transportation Engineer - Jacksonville, FL
The Infrastructure Business Line of Arcadis is looking for an Entry-level Traffic Engineer to join our world-class firm in Jacksonville, FL.

The primary focus of this position will be assisting professional engineers in the preparation of traffic engineering design plans and engineering reports. You will also have the opportunity to work in the field of traffic engineering, Project Development and Environment (PD&E) studies, Intelligent Transportation System design, signing & marking design and signal design and performing operational analyses studies.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the preparation of engineering reports, studies and analyses in a wide-range of areas including traffic operations, safety, travel demand modeling and transportation planning projects.
- Utilize basic knowledge and experience with conducting and documenting traffic studies using nationally accepted modeling practice.
- Conduct traffic operational analysis using microscopic simulation software such as VISSIM, Synchro, SimTraffic.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- BS Civil Engineering or related field
- Familiarity with Microstation, Synchro, and HCS.
- familiar with applying traffic operations principles using ITE, MUTCD, and AASHTO
- EIT or ability to obtain
