Civil Engineer
Established civil engineering firm located in Broward County and concentrates in civil engineering and planning offering over 30 years of experience is seeking a position is for a Civil Engineer responsible for the engineering activities related to the planning and design, bidding, permitting, construction, and operations of typical land development site infrastructure and roadway projects.
Responsibilities may include planning, design, drafting, permitting and inspection of civil engineering projects. Employee may be responsible for analyzing reports, maps, surveys, drawings, prints, test, aerial photographs, geotechnical reports, terrain, hydrological characteristics and other topographical data to base his/her design of the required improvements and other perform other job related services as follows:
- Preparation of feasibility and due diligence studies and reports
- Land Use and Zoning
- Commercial, residential and industrial land planning
- Design and permitting of water distribution and sewage collection/transmission system, drainage system, paving and related work for site infrastructure
- Sewage Pump Station Design
- Storm water management studies, reports and design
- Municipal Infrastructure design & permitting
- Roadway Design
- Site infrastructure engineering permitting
- Construction administration services for site infrastructure
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Civil Engineering or related field (civil engineer position).
