POSITION: Environmental Engineer I
POSITION SUMMARY:
Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for an Environmental Engineer I in our Water/Wastewater department. We are seeking qualified applicants for an entry-level position in our Crystal Lake, IL office.
Position Duties:
- Detailed design of water and wastewater treatment plants, potable water and wastewater pipelines and pumping stations
- Studies and design of wastewater system rehabilitation
- Evaluation and study of water and wastewater treatment plants
- Preparing potable water and wastewater master planning reports
- Review and planning of water and wastewater infrastructure improvements, and understanding of sustainable design elements as they relate to water and energy conservation and efficiency
Job Requirements:
- 4 year B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, with emphasis in environmental engineering preferred
- Minimum grade point average of 3.0/4.0
- Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman service area (own transportation)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Strong written, verbal, computer and organizational skills
- E.I.T (Engineer in Training) License preferred
