Civil Engineering & Land Development Paid Internship
We are currently seeking an intern position for our office to assist with our continued project workload.
This role provides an opportunity to work in a small to medium sized office with ties to the resources and projects of a much larger firm.
This provides you with the opportunity to work on unique and leading edge projects with a local focus to make a difference in the community you live in.
Responsibilities:
- Duties include design and drafting for the preparation of civil work drawings for subdivisions, industrial and commercial projects.
- Make deliveries and submittals to various Counties, Municipalities and agencies as needed.
- Development and delivery of due diligence reports and preliminary site analysis to sites.
- Maintain client communications and build client relations
- Gain experience relevant to the Engineering field.
Qualifications:
- Civil Engineering Major
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
- Experience with a project schedule program, such as Microsoft Project, is an asset
- Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of land development planning would be considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Task oriented with excellent interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D is an asset
