Process Engineer Intern

Responsibilities:
·        Establish and audit machine standards via time and motion studies.
·        Audit BOM for resin and fiber variances.
·        Assist in gathering data and training employees as needed to implement and sustain continuous improvement projects.
·        Support and audit the facility’s 5S program and lead safety initiatives.
·        Identify labor, quality and safety improvements.
·        Support manufacturing by updating standardized Run Procedures and Work Station Layouts for new and existing products.
·        Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
·        Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or relevant BS Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology or Mechanical Technology.  
·        Must have working knowledge of engineering metrics and methodology, strong quantitative, analytical and process skills.
·        Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with and support employees in a team environment.
·        Must have good presentation skills to effectively share the success and ideas.
·        Must have Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
·        Must be a self-starter, motivated for change and improvement.
·        Must be able to work in a team environment.
·        Must be able to travel as needed.
