Infrastructure & Tools - Linux/Embedded Engineer - Senior

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps or Linux Engineer to support the integration and deployment of self-driving software to vehicles operating all over the world. You will be responsible for working closely with engineers to drive the technical road map of infrastructure operations while maintaining vehicle deployments and updates.

Responsibilities:   
  • Work with development teams to improve efficiency in the software deployment process
  • Configuration Management (Chef, Ansible, etc.)
  • Assist in the containerization of software products from multiple teams
  • Repository and Package Lifecycle management
 
Competencies: 
  • DevOps, Infrastructure, or equivalent experience
  • Linux administration and networking fundamentals
  • Continuous integration/Continuous delivery concepts and tools
  • Manage technical infrastructure to support system performance
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Containerization and virtualization
  • Troubleshooting skills (Real-time and in-depth analysis)
  • Performance metrics and analysis
  • Test automation principles and design
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • 6 or more years of relevant industry experience
  • Has appropriate certifications-Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
