CAD Technician Intern
2019 Summer Internship Program
Taylor Engineering, Inc. is hosting a summer internship program for 2019 based out of our Jacksonville, FL office. Interns will gain practical experience by observing and participating in day-to-day conduct of projects related to field of interest. Taylor Engineering will provide interns opportunities for application and development of professional methods and skills through actual practice. Emphasis is placed on developing competence in basic professional methods such as analysis, financial responsibility, planning, record keeping, promotion, programming, public speaking, and team building/work. Inters will also gain insight to the entire life-cycle of a project and see firsthand how Taylor Engineering operates as a business.
CAD Technician Intern
- The CAD technician intern will support other CAD staff and engineers in the production of engineering documents that comply with company standards and practices. Under close supervision, the intern must produce accurate technical drawings using basic knowledge of Civil3D, AutoCad, and Microsoft Office products, and be familiar with using large document printers and other office equipment. Familiarity with Revit is a plus. The intern should have good communication skills, a strong desire to learn, and possess a high level of integrity with sound judgement.
- The intern applicant must have a H.S. diploma. Interns completing A.S. degree or vocational training are highly desirable.
- Part-time or full-time availability.
