What you’ll do: Florida Engineering is searching for a drafting and design specialist to join our engineering team! You’ll work directly with the Managing Partner of our structural engineering practice to develop commercial and residential plans from schematic designs provided by our clients. You will also coordinate quality control with the full design team to ensure the integrity and accuracy of AutoCAD plans provided to clients and design team partners.
Required skills:
· Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Understanding of construction processes, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components
· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with supervision from the Managing Partner
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to speak with clients
· Ability to work with SketchUp and Revit a plus
