Administrative Support Clerk

The Pacific West Region is recruiting for summer seasonal Administrative Support Clerk (OA), GS-0303-4 positions intended to assist permanent staff with administrative work.

Open to the first 50 applicants. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 EST on the 'applicant cut-off' date (which may be sooner than 02/19/2019) to be considered.

  • Prepares and manages information for input and retrieval from a computerized database. Utilizes a computer and a variety of office automation software programs, reviews and processes a variety of documents, and prepares written correspondence and reports. Uses a variety of software such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access.
  • Receives, screens, and routes telephone calls and office visitors. Ascertains nature of the call or visit and provides complete and clear information that addresses most routine or procedural issues.
  • Supports payroll, timekeeping, and travel functions.
  • Establishes, updates and maintains office records. Maintains, purges, and disposes of office records/files in accordance with established regulations and procedures.
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail.
