Product Packaging Engineering, Intern

SUMMARY: 
Qorvo is looking for a student to work within its TX IDP packaging organization supporting package development and New Product Introduction (NPI) process managed within the Qorvo Product Development engine (PDE). The role with focus on the assessment of new product mechanical packaging assemblies and product designs to ensure compliance against design rules and factory capability  

RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Reviewing Mechanical Drawings 
  • Assessing designs against qualified design rules 
  • Approving documentation through gate stages 
  • Providing detailed reports and presentations  
  • Supporting internal customer meetings  
  • Generating weekly reports  

QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • GPA 3.0
  • Degree: BS Mechanical Engineering
  • Length: 6 - 9 months availability  
  • Must be US Person or Green Card Holder

Because this is a student internship, candidate must be a currently enrolled student in a degree-seeking accredited program.
