CEI Inspector
This position reports to the Sr. Inspector and involves materials testing, and inspection of road and bridge construction projects. This position requires an EI designation and is only for full time employment. - Essential Duties and Responsibilities: daily work reporting, testing of soils, and concrete, plans reading and inspection of in-place materials.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: This position receives instruction from other inspection staff but does not supervise any one.
- Qualifications, Education and/or Experience: A Civil Engineering Degree is preferable, but this position requires a BA in Engineering with an E.I. designation (successful completion of the FE Exam)
- Language Skills: Speaks, understands, reads and writes English
- Computer Skills: Capable of operating in MS office
- Abilities and Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50lbs, work outdoors for extended periods of time, with repeated bending and twisting motions for inspections.
