North Wind is looking for Junior Engineers to join our Mentorship Program. In this program, the Junior Engineers will provide engineering services for project design, construction-engineering oversight and technical Quality Assurance/Quality Control services along with a mentor. 
Looking for various engineering disciplines including Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering services to support a wide variety of federal and commercial large-scale projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with environmental scientists, planners, hazardous waste technicians, engineers, and other specialists, to address environmental problems.
  • Inspect facilities and programs to evaluate operational effectiveness and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and update environmental investigation and recommendation reports.
  • Design and supervise the development of systems processes or equipment for control, management, or remediation of water, air, or soil quality.
  • Provide environmental engineering assistance in network analysis, regulatory analysis, and planning or reviewing database development.
  • Obtain, update, and maintain plans, permits, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide technical-level support for environmental remediation and litigation projects, including remediation system design and determination of regulatory applicability.
  • Monitor progress of environmental improvement programs.
  • Advise corporations and government agencies of procedures to follow in cleaning up contaminated sites to protect people and the environment.
  • Inform clients of environmental issues.
Bachelor's degree or obtaining the degree within 6 months
Engineer-in-Training Certification, OSHA Hazwoper Training and possession of a federal security clearance is desirable.
