Architectural Lighting Design Assistant – Miami Office (Temporary/Part Time)

We are looking for individuals who are inspired by design and how light can transform a space.
The lighting design assistant will support up to 3 team members and assist with production work in the lighting design process that may include concept presentations, 3-D modeling, Revit production, AutoCAD production, sketches and precedent image research.

Project Responsibilities/Skills
Conceptual Design and Production work
·        Comprehensive computer program knowledge: Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Power Point, Adobe Suite including Acrobat, Photoshop and InDesign.
·        Alternate software program knowledge a plus but not critical: AGI, Visual, Dialux, or Elum Tools, Daysim, Ecotect, Radiance, Vision, Bluebeam, and Rhino
·        Ability to prioritize / time management skills
·        Motivated for success
·        Team player
·        Dependable

This part time/temporary position offers 10 hours per week and is expected to last approximately 3 – 6 months. Hours are flexible between 8:30AM – 5:30PM Monday – Thursday, preferably 1-full day or (2) 5-hour day. Must be available to work in office.

Candidate must have appropriate working authorization documents for this engagement.
 
Education/Experience
·        0-2 years’ education experience in architecture or interior design
·        Candidate may be eligible to earn a portion of NCARB Architectural Experience Program (AXP) based on hours. 
·        Fluent in English (written and oral).
