Graphic Designer

As a Graphic Designer at Kellogg’s Global Corporate Headquarters in Battle Creek, MI, you’ll develop and design concepts and create graphics to support key communication projects across the company. You’re here to help us bring the best to support Kellogg Corporate Affairs team and global functions all while building your expertise and network.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 
  • An Eye for Design – You’ll develop creative recommendations and design visual solutions to support messaging in a variety of mediums. The Graphic Designer provides graphics counsel and uses creative skills to produce ideas, meeting timeline and budget constraints. That is, with your favorite Kellogg snack by your desk, of course. 
  • Designing Gr-r-reatness – While managing Kellogg’s Corporate Affairs photo and graphics asset library, you’ll contribute to day-to-day design management for various print and digital visual communication solutions.
  • Fresh Thinking - Present ideas and design concepts to internal clients and follow project plans, working through edits and changes with agility to produce high-quality communication deliverables for both internal and external audiences.


 
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
  • Associate’s Degree.
  • Related experience in Graphic Design.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Thorough understanding of design principles and best practices, as well as emerging trends.
  • Creative and innovative thinker that produces high-quality work for a wide range of media, including print, video, digital and social platforms.
  • Excellent communication and project-management skills.
  • Independent, self-starter with ability to manage issues and identify appropriate solutions.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and to juggle multiple priorities, while flawlessly executing on projects in a fast-paced, often pressured environment. 
  • Effectively partners with management, team members and clients. Ability to work well with all level of employees is critical. 
  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude and ability to provide excellent client service.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture, while also being able to manage projects from development to completion.

Bonus Points:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications or related field
  • Corporate or agency design experience
