Civil / Building Project Engineer

Oversee restoration/construction projects.

Manage and direct maintenance staff at the building.

Perform engineering duties, plan, design, and oversee the construction, restoration, and maintenance of building.

Select and apply appropriate design criteria to perform civil infrastructure design assignments.

Performs basic calculations.

Assists in the preparation of engineering project documents, pertaining to specific projects.

Prepare high quality contract documents (plans, specifications, and estimates) for the construction of civil infrastructure improvements.

Prepares site assessments, facilitates plat and permitting processes.

Recognizes when technical problems are developing and initiates appropriate corrective actions.

Utilizes relevant software programs to prepare exhibits and complex working drawings. Continues to develop skills using software programs for design and/or drafting.

Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

Review plans and specifications.

Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite.
