The Assistant Land Development Manager will assist in the estimating, budgeting, development and dedication of site improvements for our communities.

Work experience counts towards professional engineering licensure requirements!

Responsibilities include assisting with:
  • Assisting in the oversite of daily land development field operations
  • Managing contractors, verifying work completed and monitoring progress
  • Providing assistance in meetings with governmental agencies, inspectors, or HOA’s
  • Coordinating land development work with homebuilding operations
  • Assisting with project dedication and bond release work
  • Manage & maintain accurate project development schedules
  • Manage & maintain accurate project development budgets
  • Invoice review & coding, issuing Purchase Orders & Change Orders
  • Analyses of bids, contracts, and change orders
  • Assist with project Due Diligence efforts (entitlements & approvals, development schedules & budgets)

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • A desire to build a career in community design/development
  • Strong organization, computer, and communication skills
  • Have basic knowledge of storm drain, sanitary sewer, and water systems
  • Understanding of basic pavement/roadway geometrics
  • Ability to do meticulous, accurate calculations
  • Willingness to contribute in a cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel 

Civil Engineering and Construction Management college graduates are encouraged to apply.
