About the team
FIS has the industry's largest product and service portfolio. You will join a very team-oriented culture working with the best and brightest. You will join the Investment Operations Platform Owner Team which is responsible for the operation and support of several managed services hosting environments for FIS clients. You will work on a diverse set of technologies and applications, interact with multiple teams within FIS and help transform the environments in the future.
What you will be doing
You will work on day-to-day application support of the Distributed Architecture (Hosted Web Apps) for the Saas (Software as a Service) environments. You will be involved in isolation of issues and coordinating fixes with other technical teams.
· Work directly with Customer Service and other Technical subject matter experts and Development to triage high severity issues
· Root cause analysis research of recurring issues and permanent resolution and/or prevention
· Work with FIS technical resources for planned system maintenance
· Represent Distributed Architecture Team as part of cross functional teams to complete client and internal projects
· Implement and use existing automated tools to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency

The FIS 2019 Associate Development Program:
As a 2019 Associate Development Program participant with FIS, you will benefit from a two-year on the job training program. As a program participant you will have the opportunity to be mentored and participate in team projects, social events, community service activities work, and professional development seminars.
Upon the program start date, each ADP participant will complete a one-week orientation program where participants:
· Learn how to work within a corporate environment
· Learn the structure of FIS and options for growth within the organization
· Hear from FIS leadership about their journey and participate in senior leader networking opportunities
· Build a network of your peers from across the organization
The ADP program participants will participate in monthly virtual trainings with their manager and while receiving bi-weekly performance feedback from their managers they will also receive accelerated performance reviews and merit increases every six-months throughout the two-year development program.
What you bring:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
· Knowledge of Web applications utilizing Tomcat
· Solid knowledge of Windows, Linux operating systems and tools
· Advanced knowledge of database technologies; Oracle, SQL
· Passion for problem solving and Innovation
· Advanced understanding of technology and how it enables our business
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to drive solutions
