MTSS Facilitator/School Psychologist

MTSS Facilitator/School Psychologist:
 
PA School Psychologist Certificate required. The MTSS Facilitator/School Psychologist will provide leadership and support to the buildings to ensure all essential components of Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) are implemented and monitored with fidelity. This individual will build the systems that lead to dramatic and quantifiable academic, social-emotional, and behavioral achievement results for students. Additionally, this position is designed to support the implementation of the District’s comprehensive plan by providing job-embedded professional learning and collaboration. The MTSS Facilitator/School Psychologist demonstrates quality implementation and modeling of high leverage literacy learning strategies. The person in this role works closely with building principals, reading specialists, and leadership teams to support effective implementation of Professional Learning Communities and Progress Monitoring & Intervention, with a focus on literacy instruction and continuum of supports. Some small group or individual student intervention may be required depending on building need. The MTSS Facilitator/School Psychologist is a district position and school assignment will be determined at the district level. The School Psychologist component includes providing consultation, support, and direct assessment of academic achievement and behavioral health within the school environment. The MTSS Facilitator/School Psychologist is responsible for conducting psychological, academic and behavioral assessments in the diagnosis and identification of diverse learners and their needs according to PA Code. The MTSS Facilitator/School Psychologist serves as a member of the school team to support a safe and positive school climate, promote and provide behavioral and mental health services, and coordinate care with private agencies.
