ENGINEER - RESEARCH ENGINEER - ENGINE EMISSIONS

Lead and support projects related to particle emissions from engines. Collaborate and perform work in the particle laboratory and engine laboratory conducting experiments using various particle equipment. Analyze data and reduce it to a summarized form for presentation, reporting, and publishing purposes. Some assignments may involve calibration of particle equipment and Labview programming related to equipment software and instrumentation development.


Education/Experience

Requires a MS or PhD in Automotive Engineering or related with graduate research work focused in related area with 0-3 years of experience and a 3.0 GPA. Internship or graduate research focused on experiments in engine laboratory related to particle science and engine emissions is required. Must be familiar with particle instrumentation. Knowledge in particle science and engines is required. Particle emissions research and knowledge in particle equipment such as SMPS, EEPS, MSS, particle calibration, particle sensors, is required. Must have experience in engine emissions. Knowledge in internal combustion engines is required. Any additional specialized particle knowledge is a plus. Excellent presentation skills and reporting skills are required. Must have experience in MS Excel and Word. Experience with Labview, and data logger programing is required.
