DBI Construction Consultants specializes in building damage evaluation and cost consulting, primarily to clients in the insurance claims industry. DBI’s core function is the identification and evaluation of damage to buildings resulting from any number of causes including fire, flood, broken water/fire sprinkler piping, wind (hurricanes, tornados), and earthquakes, among others. Damages are noted and documented during physical inspection, and an appropriate scope and estimate for the repairs needed to restore the property is formulated and presented in a technical report for our clients.

DBI Construction Consultants, founded in 2002, has office locations across the US and is a uniquely skilled, dynamic, and client-focused firm comprised of individuals with backgrounds in construction management, engineering, architecture, insurance, and real estate finance. Aside from our Construction Consulting Division, DBI has an in-house Project Management Division operating out of our New York office with real estate development and construction oversight capabilities. This internal mix sets us apart from our other consultants and imparts additional validity to our cost estimating, in that our company regularly prices and manages construction.
