Process Development Engineering, Intern

This is a full-time position located in Bend, OR. The position will be temporary in nature and last approximately 3 months (May-August, 2020)
Degree Requirements: Currently enrolled in BS / MS with completion of at least two years of school prior to beginning of internship.
Description:
Qorvo is looking for a student to work as a Process Development Engineer during the summer of 2020. The student in this position will be exposed to all aspects of Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) filter manufacturing, characterization, and testing.

Responsibilities:
• Support manufacturing and development efforts for BAW resonators and filters
• Optimization of physical vapor deposition technologies
• Characterization and evaluation of thin film materials
• Improve process control thorough implementation of automated monitoring systems

Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in BS / MS with completion of at least two years of school prior to beginning of internship
• Understanding of semiconductor processing technologies
• Self-Starter with good communication skills
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
• 3 months availability
NOTE: Because this is a student internship, candidate must be a currently enrolled student in a degree-seeking accredited program.
