Your Role and Responsibilities
As a SAP Technical Specialist, you will gain valuable on the job training while building in-demand technical skills such as: Basis, ABAP, SAP Analytics, Hybris, or S4/HANA. You will become part of the solution for our top-tier clients in collaboration with other exceptional IBMers in a dynamic team environment. You will work on projects that help our clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs, promote accountability and optimize performance. You will also have the opportunity to build rewarding career with a powerful portfolio of interesting skills and experiences.
The IBM Client Innovation Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from our Baton Rouge center. However, some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday thru Friday). You are expected to travel approximately 50% of the time. This is a traditional office position. You must live in, or be willing to relocate to, LOUISIANA. The work location is 100 North Street Baton Rouge, LA 70802. This is not a work from home position.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Basic knowledge in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or similar field.
- Basic knowledge of computer developer tools and technology
- Basic knowledge of SAP tools and technology
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Analytics or similar degree
- 1 year exposure to SAP tools and technology
- 1 year experience in Microsoft Office applications
