The Role

The engineering interns will be a part of the engineering department and can focus on several distinct roles within the Catalent organization. Each type of engineering group is essential to support the daily operations of the site but make impacts in diverse ways. The different engineering teams include:

  • Validation Engineers-Write and perform validation procedures on equipment to prove capability and maintain compliance for our customers and regulatory agencies. The intern would learn current validation strategies and GMP knowledge
  • Facilities & Operations Engineer-Technical Project manager that executes capital projects that impact the GMP facilities to meet FDA requirements, growth strategies. This position uses CAD and Project Management software to aid in project completion
  • Continuous Improvement-Identify continuous improvement opportunities that will enhance our processes to save time and maintain compliance
  • Packaging Engineer- Design packaging for our clients’ drugs and drug delivery systems to make them both innovative, cost-effective, and convenient for the end user
  • Each intern would be assigned to one or more of the smaller functional groups to make an impact to the department and site by executing one or more projects within the departments

The Candidate

In order to be eligible for an internship at Catalent, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a College or University
  • Must be an undergraduate student in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field of study
  • Eligible to legally work in the United States
  • Work full time (40 hours/week) for a 10-12 week period
