Purchasing Engineer
Introduction:
We are looking for a Procurement & Purchasing Engineer to be responsible for performing strategic procurement activities and find new materials and more profitable suppliers. To follow up the manufacturing of our projects, oversee the quality control and control the in-house products and material inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Forecast price and market trends to create cost and manufacturing scenario analysis.
- Follow up with suppliers about projects assigned to production.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
- Ensure clear requirements documentation with suppliers.
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries by supervising the national and international logistics.
- Supervise warehouse inventory.
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Science ( Engineering Degree Preferred). Knowledge of electronics, plastics and/or metals.
- U.S. Citizen or GreenCard Holder, in order to meet ITAR and some Federal regulations.
- Highly motivated person, Teamworker and willing to learn.
- Multitasking and proactive, with negotiation and social skills.
- Ability to gather and analyze data.
- Team-worker but also able to work without supervision after being trained.
- Solid judgement along with decision making skills.
Details: Job offer has 6 months of probationary period, during which the candidate will be trained in all the duties.
