The NC Division of Mitigation Services provides natural resource mitigation to offset unavoidable stream and wetland impacts by NCDOT and developers. Our program consists of 30 mission driven professionals who are in need of information technology support to maintain and oversee the development of web applications, automated workflows and system integration efforts. This is a unique opportunity to utilize existing GIS skills, expand on scripting/development experience and learn new platforms. NCDMS is a forward thinking organization looking to leverage technology (Drones, remote sensing, 360 video) and automation (python scripting, MS Flow, MS Power Apps, MS Dynamics) to advance the practice of natural resource restoration and set the industry standard. Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, AGOL, python scripting, publishing GP Services is desirable. Time allocation: 20% problem solving, 20% project/contract management, 20% scripting/development, 20% maintenance of existing systems and workflows. Creative, solution oriented, driven individuals are encouraged to apply.
