Description of Shadowing Opportunity:
You will work with and shadow a construction project administrator on different tasks. Including but not limited to:
Field visit to a complex construction project
Participate in a project progress meeting
Meet with project managers and or coordinators
Give a brief introduction to the organization and overview of construction staff at Broward Operations.
Constructing concrete barrier wall transitions.
The department does more than construct and build roads and bridges, they are committed to providing safe and efficient facilities for the traveling public.

9:00AM Arrival and introduction to Internship Coordinator/Recruiter and District Departmental Managers
10:00AM Get an overview of the FDOT of who we are and what we do. What our hiring process is like and how to apply for a position with us.
12:00PM Bring your own lunch – lunch in break room with administrative team
1:00 PM Meet and Greet with key Department/Supervisor members
1:45 PM Site Visit to construction site
2:15 PM - Onwards - Work with manager
4:15 PM Debrief with our Construction Engineer and Project Oversite PE
5:00 PM Departure
