Supply Chain Management Intern
Starting in April for at least 6 months
Lufthansa Technik Component Services (LTCS), a subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik AG (LHT) - the world's leading provider of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services – is looking for a self-motivated and energetic full-time Supply Chain Management Intern. This is a compensated internship including the costs for the visa (if necessary) as well as the flight to and from the internship location.
We are looking for an intern who has a strong analytical background and an entrepreneurial mindset. Within your role, you will be supporting the Material Solutions team in a variety of tasks such as evaluating KPI reports, deriving measures to achieve contract fulfillment, and contributing to the growth of single event business. We are looking for a problem solver and a person that sees the opportunities and potential to process improvement.
In our rapidly changing line of business, flexibility is important. The following tasks should raise your interest before applying:
- Assisting and contributing to the work of the supply chain managers by evaluating KPI reports and deriving measures to achieve contract fulfillment
- Working with and help in creating and improving monthly KPI reports
- Supporting and contributing to the setup and growth of single event businesses
- Active involvement in customer/non-customer related projects
- Working closely together with our team
- Assisting in all necessary support functions
Your profile:
- Field of study: Supply Chain Management, Business Engineering, Economics with a focus on Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management or a related degree
- Interest in airline industry
- Prior work experience through relevant internships required
- Self-confidence and focused on results
- High level of independence, flexibility, commitment and enthusiasm
- Communicative, intercultural sensibility
- Team player and excellent interpersonal skills
- Very good computer skills, especially advanced knowledge in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Excellent English language skills, German and/or Spanish language skills are of advantage
