Construction Engineering Intern (Summer 2020)

The role:
We are seeking two summer interns to perform construction engineering work in our Barlow office. In this role, you will assist with a twelve-mile bridge replacement paving project, help replace ADA ramps, perform electrical work, and replace bridge joints on ramps associated with the Fremont Bridge.
You will gain valuable work experience and learn more about the great culture at ODOT as you become familiar with common construction practices used in paving, grinding and concrete work. In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn how to use programs such as Doc Express, MicroStation, and InRoads. If you have an interest in government and the desire to make a difference, we welcome your application.
What we need:
- Someone pursuing a degree in engineering, survey, or a related field who has completed at least their freshman year in college.
- A valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
