CCIP Intern- Florida Region Internship (West Palm Beach, FL)

Program Overview:
This internship is a summer program based at Comcast’s Central Division office in West Palm Beach, Florida. Our 11-week summer program will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop strong interpersonal and business skills and gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a Fortune 50 media and technology company. You can expect to be engaged in thought-provoking projects and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network. 
 
Additionally, your experience will include:
Engagement: Working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units at Comcast during your internship experience.
Exposure: An inside look into the day-to-day operations of an organization at the cutting edge of media and technology.
Professional development: You will be exposed to a variety of professional development topics facilitated through our partners at Comcast University and senior leaders within the organization. These sessions are inclusive of speaker series, skill-building workshops, and networking opportunities. 
Mentorship: Mentoring from fellow colleagues to help you navigate your experience, provide coaching, and expand your professional network. 
Fun: Continuously develop relationships with fellow interns through social activities, community building, and networking.
 
Comcast has multiple internship opportunities and your responsibilities will vary; functional areas may include but not limited to:
 
Finance and Accounting 
As a Finance and Accounting intern, expect to go from class to real-life business situations within finance and accounting as you assist with the day-to-day operations of a thriving Fortune 50 media and technology company. Potential areas may include: Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Reporting, Business Operations and more. 
 
Information Technology and Engineering
As an Information Technology or Engineering intern, prepare to be engaged in thought-provoking projects, experience a cutting-edge organization from the inside, gain professional development skills and have access to a wide range of mentorship and networking opportunities. Potential areas may include: Systems Administration, Network Maintenance, Project Management, Network Engineering, and more. 
 
Sales and Marketing
As a Sales and Marketing intern, your role will be centered around creating and executing sales and marketing efforts to gain new customers and maintain existing customers. Potential areas may include: Marketing Communications, Marketing Analytics, Product Marketing and Sales Operations. 
 
Human Resources
As a Human Resources intern, your role will be focused on helping to execute on significant HR projects within many different business units and areas. As an HR intern, you will collaborate with many different areas such as: HR Business Process Excellence, Employee Experience and more. 
 
Government Affairs 
As a Government Affairs intern, you will support with the coordination and management of Corporate Government Affairs programs, including working with other departments to gather relevant data and coordinate many of the Company’s advocacy efforts. This role will assist with corporate communications activities that enhance and elevate the Comcast brand and corporate reputation. 
 
Customer Experience and Care Operations 
As a Customer Experience and Care Operations intern, plan to assist with care operations and customer experience leaders to strategize, build and execute on roadmaps and project plans impacting our core customer operations and customer experience.  
 
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
- Authorized to work in the United States of America
- Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week
 
Preferred Qualifications/Background:
- Prior business exposure through internships, work experiences or campus organizations is preferred
- Strong interest in the technology, telecommunications, cable and media industries
