Fiberglass/Paint Technician

As a Fiberglass/Paint Technician for shop operations, you will be required to carry out all aspect of fiberglass repair, gelcoat repair and paint responsibilities.
Job Description:
Applicant must have proficiency and training in all aspects of fiberglass repairs, including but not limited to:
- Working with poly and vinyl resins.
- Working with epoxy resins.
- Proficient in gelcoat repairs, matching, sanding and buffing.
- Proficient in building small molds and plugs.
- Working with Polyurethane paints.
- Must have the proper tools to perform the trade. (Specialty tools provided by PYM).
- Certifications from accredited schools or Manufactures schools a plus.
- Forklift driving and training.
- Taking classes or courses as needed to advance your training.
- Inventory control of the materials used for your job description.
- Keeping you work area clean, presentable and safe daily.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the marine industry.
- Certification from accredited schools or manufactures schools a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have the proper tools to perform the trade (Specialty tools provided by PYM)
- Possess a valid US driver’s license.
