Undergrad Manufacturing Engineer, Co-Op
Works jointly with the Product, Quality and Manufacturing Engineers; leverages the long-term technology strategies to solve near term manufacturing, EHS, quality and capacity issues in the plant. Performs cost analysis on assigned processes and projects, and responsible for implementation and follow-up. Assists in reduction of process variability by developing and executing process control and improvement methods, as applicable for the areas of responsibilities.
Your responsibilities
- Manage improvements on performance of related process applying Six Sigma Tools & LEAN with emphasis on:
- • Work in a manufacturing environment to implement process controls in alignment with the ABB Management System.
- • Implement appropriate tools to effectively meet established work plan and goals.
- • Establishes and maintains continuous communication with leaders to identify and solve technical issues that affect production output.
- • Lead to improve service and quality of our products.
- • Prepares daily reports on production/materials to inform to assignment leader the progress of the assignment.
- • Successful on the completion of assignment project task.
- • Actively implement actions related to EHS, Lean, Service, Inventory and Quality.
- • Follows and actively participates in all the EHS practices, procedures and requirement.
- • Performs other related duties as requested by the management
Your background
- Undergraduate (sophomore, Junior) or Master’s Students
