The Position:  We are in search of a candidate to support E-2D Naval Integrated Fire Control T&E. This person will have knowledge and experience with integrated fire control systems (airborne or surface), related networks and data link is a critical element. Optimally, a person who is an expert in integrated fire control system of systems, radar and T&E; however, more emphasis can be placed on experience with integrated fire control and data link. Aircrew in particular carrier strike group or related prior military experience is well regarded. This position applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, design, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. 

 

 The Description: 

·      Applies engineering principles to research, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate systems.

·      Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation

The Working Environment:  The physical environment requires the employee to work in office environment either at an AM Pierce office or on the government site sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for the majority of the workday. The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site. In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. Occasional travel may be required.
