JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the department Manager, the position’s incumbent will ensure a service to the integration department that will provide AutoCad services by assisting with shop drawing creation and system documentation.
PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS
· Work with Design team to develop plans and documents required by the project managers and representatives;
· Based on the client or consultant’s plan and needs, develop drawings in compliance with Pro Sound, Inc. and the industry’s standards and requirements;
· Provide drawings of 2D and occasionally 3D plan types, single line diagram, block diagram, furniture’s equipment elevation, patch details, cables numeration, elements positioning in a space;
· Provide documents, technical data sheets and manuals that are required for the projects,
· Prepare the manufacturing drawings, specifications and production notes for custom items;
· Assist with best practices in regards to drawing standards and documentation;
· Carry out any other related tasks.
JOB’S REQUIREMENTS
Education: College diploma in related technical field or comparable experience.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year working in CAD or design related software
Special requirements:
· Proficiency creating project documentation using AutoCAD, MS Office and MS Visio is essential;
· Knowledge of the audiovisual field (an asset);
· Proficiency in AutoCAD or more recent software
· Capacity to work with deadlines and able to manage pressure;
· Demonstrate thoroughness and attention to detail;
· Solid relations and interpersonal skills;
· Customer service oriented;
· Ability to adapt to change;
· Excellent organizational skills and written and verbal communications required.
