Your Responsibilities

 
We’re looking for a driven engineer to help us make an impact. The John Deere Engineering Development Program is a full time rotational opportunity targeted for new college graduates. Engineers are supported in experiencing multiple roles in a condensed timeframe to explore foundational engineering practices within Product, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering.

  • A few examples of roles engineers have worked in while in the program are design, test, controls & simulations, electronics, embedded software, engines, drivetrain, factory automation, weld, manufacturing, assembly, robotics, programming and hydraulics – just to name a few!


Skills You Need

  • Currently pursuing or recent college graduate with a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Ag Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA required of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Previous internship, co-op, or project focused research experience.
  • Skill in using computer aided design, engineering tools and/or programming language.
 
Location, location, location! This opportunity resides at multiple US based facilities in the Midwest and Southeast regions, so you must be willing to relocate domestically.
