RF Applications Engineering

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The applications engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for a growing portfolio of RF and Microwave active and passive products for a multitude of applications.
  • Contribute to the applications engineering team supporting products for Radar, EW and Communication applications.
  • The position will work with customers and sales team to grow Qorvo’s business in the Defense and Aerospace market.
  • The engineer will determine customer requirements for specific applications and recommend the right solutions including assistance with design-in for system integration.
  • Troubleshooting of customers systems implementation of Qorvo’s products.
  • Work closely with the design team and product line manager to create MMIC product datasheets and application note documentation, product evaluation boards, and training material for customers.
  • Work with product line managers to ensure that customer requirements are met with new product introductions.
  • Competitive technical analysis and benchmarking of products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS degree required; Masters preferred with focus on RF/Microwave
  • Working knowledge of RF and Microwave semiconductors for power amplifiers, LNA, phase shifters, limiters, converters, and filters.
  • Working knowledge of using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzer, and oscilloscopes.
  • Capable of nonlinear simulation ADS or MWO.
