What to expect:  
 
Our co-op program is designed to provide you with cross-functional design opportunities and deepen exposure into the practical application of the fundamentals in your area of study. All co-op opportunities are comprehensive, hands-on, and strategically integrated into the departmental function of Engineering. We are looking for students with the right mix of talent and enthusiasm, with initiative, strong analytical and communication skills, and individuals with the ability to work cross functionally in a team setting! 
The TTI Floor Care Engineering Co-Op provides a meaningful, 12-16 week paid spring, summer or fall opportunity for high-performing college students who are interested in an Engineering career. Engineering team members are responsible for the end-to-end management of product creation, from concept to commercialization. The co-op rotations will focus on performance testing, electrical subsystem and/or embedded firmware design utilizing Altium and then overall product development through manufacturing processes. 

Location:   

TTI Floor Care North America US headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. A monthly housing stipend is offered for all Co-ops.   

Requirements: 

  • A Sophomore or Junior working towards undergraduate degree in the areas of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields 
  • GPA of 2.75 and above (3.0 preferred) 
  • Self-starter with strong communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills 
  • Open to working in a dynamic collaborative environment in a hybrid office/virtual environment  
  • Creative thinker with a strong aptitude for perseverance through problem resolution  
  • Sponsorship for work visas is not offered for this position 
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs. and perform physical product testing
