·    Communication / Coordination:

•    Responsible for communicating with Senior Engineer to maintain a clear / concise understanding of projects and daily business.

•    Responsible for coordinating all aspects of production, design, and engineering analysis for assigned projects.

•    Required to coordinate project activities with Senior Engineer.

 

·    Technical Role / Responsibilities:

•    Support Senior Engineer to establish engineering standards for drafting.

•    Prepare electrical system models and perform power systems analysis to include:

§ Load flow

§ Short circuit

§ Protection / Coordination

§ Arc flash

§ Transient stability

§ Dynamic system analysis

•    Support design, plan layout, and coordinate power system facilities and equipment installation / upgrade to include the following:

§ Electric power generating stations

§ Transmission substations

§ Distribution substations

§ Electrical distribution power systems & associated equipment in industrial applications

•    Member of engineering team in design development requirements and creation of schedules and project cost projections.

•    Estimate labor, material, construction, and equipment costs with supervision.

•    Prepare drawings and specific type of equipment and materials to be used, in construction and equipment installation.

•    Prepare electrical power systems equipment specifications.

•    Review vendor / manufacturer information

•    Capture and organize electrical data for power system analysis.

§ Assist in preparation of power system models

§ Assist with Load flow analysis

§ Assist with Short circuit analysis

§ Assist with Protection coordination / settings review and analysis

§ Assist with Arc flash analysis

•    Support proposal preparation

•    Assist with project report preparation

•    Provide support for business development tasks:

Briefing preparation and presentation in support of business development efforts.
