Summer 2022 Project Engineering Intern
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of a capital projects
- Assist in developing project schedules, serving as roadmaps for the project team through engineering, budgeting, approvals, contracting/procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Prepare a weekly report outlining team progress and individual learnings and exposure
- Set up and maintain Engineering section of project Sharefile site with project design documents; ensure cross functional team members have access to site; communicate scope and answer questions as applicable
- Research prior projects as applicable to inform budgeting and expected spending levels
- Visit existing DFA plant(s) with similar technology as new project to gain relevant technical and operational expertise, research best practices, and identify potential project gaps
- At the end of the internship prepare and present a project summary to applicable stakeholders
*This internship is remote, meaning the candidate selected can work remotely from home for the summer.

The qualified candidate will be a junior or senior in the fall of 2022 with a degree focus in Engineering (Agricultural, Building Science, Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical).
