Graduate Structural Engineer

Job Responsibilities
Pennoni is currently looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer with experience consistent, but not limited to:
- Assists the Project manager from the projects conception through construction
- Designs the buildings structural system
- Detail and redline the structural elements for building construction
- Reviews redline drawings
- Communicates with clients
- Attends meetings, visits project sites, checks shop drawings, AutoCAD if necessary.
Required Attributes:
- Required education: Bachelor of Science Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Minimum years of working experience: 0-3 years.
- Licenses required: Engineer-In-Training preferred.
- Computer skills required: Working knowledge of structural analysis software platforms is desired such as finite element modeling (Strand7, STAAD, GTSRUDL, SAP2000), structural analysis software (BAR7, VIRTIS, BRASS, SPColumn), computational software (MATLab, MATCad, ABQUS, Python), computer aided design (Microstation, AutoCAD, Civil3D) and MS Office inclusive or MS project and MS Visio
- Excellent communication skills.
- Works well independently and with others, well organized, task oriented, capable of meeting deadlines.
Preferred Attributes:
- Master's of Structural Engineer preferred
- Ability to work independently within a group setting
- Experience reading structural and architectural drawings, self-motivated, takes ownership of work.
- Willing to go above and beyond.
