Engineering Leadership Development Program

Job Summary
The Engineering Development (EDP) provides an accelerated training program for college graduates who have an ability to excel in today's engineering environment. The program will provide you with exposure to the various facets of Supply Chain within a diverse manufacturing organization and an opportunity to develop into a future engineering leader. The EDP will build on your technical skillsets by providing exposure to experienced Conagra Brands professionals. You will report into an Engineering Manager throughout the program.
The Program is structured to last 24-36 months. During this time, you will gain experiences related to project management in both a plant and corporate setting. You will go through two rotations throughout the program and will gain broad experiences across the business.

Position Responsibilities

  • Follow prescribed procedures and conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations for structures, systems, and components
  • Work with experienced engineers to provide follow-up and engineering assistance on defined projects and known problems
  • Prepare reports, graphs, planning layouts, and summaries designed to communicate project progress
  • Implement small plant-based projects and help complete larger capital projects by using established engineering workflow processes
  • You will work with customers within and outside the Supply Chain function, in addition to external interaction with equipment vendors, construction contractors, engineering services contractors and others
Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in programs related to Engineering
  • Leadership experience
  • Financial knowledge (i.e. budget management, cost driver understanding)
  • Ability to react to daily situations without losing sight of strategy
  • Desire to grow within the company's Engineering Department
  • Ability to relocate and travel up to 20%
