You will be a part of the Electrical Engineering Team and report to the Senior Hardware Manager responsible for supporting new product development. If you thrive in a highly technical, fast-paced role and want to work to build a world-class research and development organization—read on!
In this role, you will have the following opportunities, but are not limited to:
  • Support hardware development projects from an electrical prospective (analog / digital circuits, FPGA, soldering, prototype assembly)
  • Supports product development as well as line maintenance of launched products and their reliability improvements.
  • Ensures robust/reliable product design, verification and validation of initial and subsequent design changes making sure that all FDA/ISO/EN and other related requirements are consistently met.
  • Support design execution of sophisticated products under the guidance of senior engineers, which shall consist of a strong systems mindset including hardware, software, fluidics, reagents, biologics
  • Create and present technical reports on projects to peers and management.
  • Creating test plans and Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Writing test reports, including summarizing results, drawing conclusions from test results and proposing recommendations
The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Enrolled in a BS/MS electrical engineering program, graduating in 1-2 years.
  • Experience with using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and spectrum analyzers
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Soldering experience
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • VHDL or Verilog experience
  • Schematic capture and PCB layout
