Civil Engineer Intern
exo Limited is seeking an Engineering Intern (EI) to be based in Orlando, FL.

As an EI, you will work directly with and provide support to the Professional Engineering staff. In the process you will learn the routine aspects of designing, modeling, and permitting.
Under direct supervision, the candidate will be required to:
· Assist in creating conceptual site plans for client feasibility
· Utilize engineering software to perform calculations related to storm drainage and grading
· Apply basic engineering principles to develop designs that adhere to various municipalities while meeting the client’s needs
· Collaborate with and provide technical support to the project management staff
· File applications and coordinate with the applicable permitting agencies
· Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
Minimum Requirements
· Candidate must be currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with the intent to continue attendance following the internship
· Must have completed 1 year of study in the applicable program.
Preferred Requirements
· Basic knowledge of industry-standard computer software for the position including typical office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and drafting or modeling applications (MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, etc.)
