Welcome to Camps Equinunk and Blue Ridge. Since 1920, our traditional summer camps have been at the forefront of resident camping and have served as a summer home to hundreds of campers, staff, and alumni. We are passionate about the camping experience and value the history and traditions that continue to shape us. Equinunk and Blue Ridge campus sits on 400+ magnificent acres of fields and wooded trails and is divided by our 75-acre private spring-fed lake.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Specialist staff are assigned to live with a bunk of campers, and will be responsible for caring for them while not working in their activity area
  • Specialist staff instruct campers of all ages in their specialist areas and are expected to be actively engaged with the campers 
  • Required to be able to adapt to different age groups and ability levels for each activity period (usually one hour periods)
  • When not assigned to an activity or program area, staff will be required to participate and supervise the campers in their bunk, for evening activities, socials, and event days.  
  • Specialist staff spend the majority of their time with campers and also play a crucial factor in their health, safety, well-being, and enjoyment while in camp
