POSITION: Construction Engineering Internship (Summer 2022)
POSITION LOCATION: Crystal Lake, IL
POSITION SUMMARY:
Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Construction Intern in our Crystal Lake, IL office starting May 2022. This on-the-job experience will support the firm’s construction department with the construction of a variety of transportation facilities, and offer the opportunity to work directly with firm clients.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Quantity Computation
- Construction Layout
- Survey
- Construction Inspections
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ongoing pursuit of a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in construction or transportation engineering
- Maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- Available to start May 2022
- Ability to travel throughout Chicago area (own transportation)
- Work in a team environment
- Strong written, verbal, computer and organizational skills
